Had a GREAT bounce-back Week 3. After losing $495 in Week 2, I throw up a 12-4 slate and end up winning $425 for a total of $410 to the good.
The best news is that LEO’S LOCK is a perfect 3-0 and LEO’S LOSERS is a respectable 9-6. Let’s see how Week 4 shapes up with a lot of the country looking at the possibility of some very inclement weather that’s definitely changing some of my picks.
SAN FRANCISCO (+8) loses to Green Bay
The fact that San Fran is an underdog is not surprising. The fact that the Pack is only an 8-point favorite is astounding. Did anyone in Vegas see Monday Night Football? Aaron Rodgers will have another great game and Green Bay easily moves to 4-0 with a convincing victory over the 49ers.
NORTH CAROLINA STATE (-4) loses to Louisville
Yes, I know the Cardinals are 1-3 having lost to Clemson by 3 on a Thursday night and at Auburn by 7. The Wolfpack is 4-0 with their signature win being over Old Dominion. Really? Welcome to the ACC, Pack. Louisville by double-digits.
Alabama (+2 1/2) loses to Georgia
For the first time in a long time the Crimson Tide is an underdog. It wouldn’t be so bad but it’s “Between the Hedges” in Athens. Mark Richt leads the ‘Dogs to a close win and silences his critics for at least another week.
New York Jets (-1 1/2) loses to Miami
You’re never as good or as bad as you look the week before. Jets need to create turnovers to win. Figure the Fins get a lot better play out of Tannyhill across the pond and squeak out a win.
Oakland (-3) loses to CHICAGO
Can’t seriously pick the Raiders to win a road game even against the winless Bears. Monsters of the Midway feed Oakland a steady diet of Matt Forte and get their first win of the season albeit an ugly one.
St. Louis (+7) loses to ARIZONA
Looks like Carson Palmer is on a mission and his next victim will be the Rams. Big day for Fitzgerald as the Cardinals juggernaut keeps rolling.
Notre Dame (+1 1/2) loses to CLEMSON
WAKE FOREST (+20) loses to Florida State
TENNESSEE (-7) loses to Arkansas
FLORIDA (+7) loses to Mississippi
TULANE (-2) loses to Central Florida
Air Force (+4) loses to NAVY
TEXAS A&M (-6 1/2) loses to Mississippi State
North Carolina (+7) loses to DUKE
TAMPA BAY (+3) loses to Carolina
WASHINGTON (+3) loses to Philadelphia
