Buc Up…with Rob Kriete! – FEBRUARY 20

Tampa Bay Buccaneers Flags

What an amazing season for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers! Making it to the playoffs for the first time in 13 years and then winning Super Bowl LV at their home stadium, Raymond James, to become the first team to do so made 2020 a memorable year for the Bucs.

Tom Brady

The 2020 season truly began for the Buccaneers upon the signing of, at that time, six-time Super Bowl champ Tom Brady. Joining a team with offensive weapons seemed to suit Mr. Brady quite well!

As the season progressed, the Tampa Bay defense got stronger and stronger. The Bucs saved the best for last by holding the Chiefs to a mere three field goals in the Super Bowl.

The Bucs seemingly found their long sought kicker this season as well. Ryan Succop was one of the best kickers in the NFL.

Tampa Bay had to beat two, and more likely three, future Hall of Fame bound quarterbacks during their championship drive; Drew Brees, Aaron Rodgers and Patrick Mahomes.

The Bucs ultimately won the big game 31 – 9 and the now-infamous celebration was underway in Tampa Bay!
