Game On…with Rob Kriete! – APRIL 8

It is Game On for the Par 72, 7,475-yard golf tournament known as the Masters! PGA fans get a second Masters tournament in six months, as the 2020 version was just held in November with record scores. With fall conditions in 2020, Dustin Johnson won the tournament with a record score of 268 and finished 20-under-par!

The 2021 Masters will be much tougher. With narrow fairways and tricky shots to the fast greens, a more “normal” tournament is expected with scores hovering close to the single negative integer range. And with the smallest field of the four majors, the Masters is a tournament that is historically unique, including invitation-only players.

The Masters is found on many sports fans’ “bucket lists” and traditionally produces amazing competition.  Even thought there have been some controversies surrounding their policies over the decades.

Nonetheless, the field is strong in 2021. Even without Tiger Woods, who is recovering from a serious automobile accident, the star PGA players are hitting the links at the Augusta National Golf Club this weekend.

Who do you like to win the famous green jacket this weekend?

Be safe, everyone!
