PONTIFICATING FROM THE SUNSHINE STATE – JULY 19

TOO FAST TOO SOON

The big question we need to ask is are we moving too fast from a complete quarantine to back to normal life.  Not just where sports, especially professional ones, are concerned but in our daily life.

Truthfully, I don’t know the answer.  Scientist and medical experts are divided on how to proceed.  Some say it’s safe now to move away from the protocols that we had for the for the last almost 18 months now that a large majority of our population is vaccinated.  Others say we still need to practice caution with the Covid variants that are appearing.

The bottom line is you need to do what you feel is right to safe.  Not just for you but for the safety of others as well.

My advice is to err on the side of caution.  If you don’t feel comfortable being in large crowds of unmasked people who you do not know have been vaccinated, then wear a mask.  Better to be safe than sorry.
