Chillin’ With AC – AUGUST 4
By Andrew Cioffi

Sadly, this is my last column writing for It’s Sports Magazine, for now, and it has been an absolute pleasure to write a weekly column for you guys. I got to cover a lot of really cool events, and man was it easy being in the city of Tampa. I was able to write about the Lightning’s playoff run becoming Stanley Cup Champions again, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers training camp as they look to repeat, the NHL expansion draft, the Madden cover and so much more! I hope that all of you enjoyed my column and hope you received some good insight! Today was my last day at the Buccaneers training camp and all I can say is that it was a great experience and I predict that the Bucs are going to repeat as Super Bowl champions.

Today was “Military Day” and the entire Buccaneers organization gladly welcomed active duty military, veteran service members and their families to AdventHealth Training Center. There was a special military tribute as the United States Special Operations Command Parachute Team, parachuted onto the practice field. It was a great tribute and many active and veteran military members were there. I was also able to capture a few pictures of Rob Gronkowski signing a football and throwing it to a group of active military members as well as thanking them for their service.

The practice itself was very high paced and intense and I would say the team looked really crisp and fast. Tom Brady looked really good as he completing at least 90% of all his passes during the teams 7 on 7 drill. His pass connection to receiver Antonio Brown was really good and their chemistry seemed to have improved. AB was really standing out of all receivers, definitely looking like a top 2 guy going into the season. Wide receiver Chris Godwin also looked really sharp, but did not have as many catches during the live practice. Rob Gronkowski again looks to be moving very fast and overall looks on top of his game. He made a few really good catches over the middle which reminded me of when Gronk and Tom played on the New England Patriots together. It was a really great day and I got to spend it with our publisher, Jeffrey Neil Fox, as he was able to capture many photos.

It has been a pleasure and, as Roy Rogers said, it “happy Trails until we meet again.  Look for me chiming in every now and then on the POLL QUESTIONS and maybe some of the You Talkin’ To Me.
